When I am questioned why I am passionate about agriculture I often find it hard to explain.
Agriculture has always been a significant part of my life. As Thomas Jefferson once said;
“Agriculture is our wisest pursuit because it will in the end contribute most to real wealth, good
morals and happiness.”

Emma Adom is a Second year MPhil student offering Agricultural Economics at the Department of Agricultural Economics and Agribusiness in University of Ghana. She studied Agriculture at the undergraduate level and graduated with a degree in Agricultural Economics in University of Ghana. She took her national service at the Department of Agricultural Economics and Agribusiness of University of Ghana, then worked briefly with Green Innovation Centre of GIZ and returned to school.
