I am an MPhil student, who pursued MPhil Agricultural Economics at the Department of Agricultural Economics and Agribusiness, University of Ghana, Legon. I was born and raised in the Upper East Region of Ghana by my parents, Mr Nicholas Kolog and Mrs Mary Akugre. I hold a B.A degree in Economics and Philosophy from the University of Ghana, Legon in 2016.
After my first degree, I did my mandatory one year of national service with PBC Ltd.
I am a visionary young man, self-motivated and career driven. I aspire to be an Agricultural Economist who will bring to light, sustainability issues in the agriculture sector and come up with relevant recommendations to aid policy formulation in the country and the world at large. I hope to impact by means of research in the lives of people living in rural areas, especially in sustainable livelihood improvement and poverty alleviation. Gaining admission into the Department of Agricultural Economics and Agribusiness was a dream come through and a step in the right direction to achieving my long-term career goals.
