Immunity to helminths and parasitic protozoa. Hypersensitivity  and allergic reactions in parasitic infections; tissue damage by immunological mechanisms; autoimmunity. Antibody-antigen interactions. Immunological applications in parasitology; classification and characterization of parasites, localization of parasites in hosts, immunohistopathology and immunodiagnosis in immunoprophylaxix. Immuno-therapy and immuno-control in parasitic infections.
