ENTO 602: Agricultural Pests

Survey of agricultural insect and non-insect pests of crops, including non-insect pests like mites, nematodes, birds and rodents. Critical review of the biology, ecology damage and control of major pests of selected important crops (e.g. cereals, legumes, vegetables, root and tuber crops, beverage crops, rotation crops, palms and species). Study of general pests of major economic importance in Africa (e.g. locusts and grasshoppers)
