Registration Guidelines for 1st Semester Courses - Undergraduate Students Who Should Have Completed Their Programmes

These are further guidelines for Supplementary Re-Sit Examinations (1st Semester Courses) for students who should have completed their programmes in the following academic years only: 2015/2016, 2016/2017, 2017/2018 and 2018/2019.  Continuing students should NOT follow this process but use the normal STS re-sit portal to register.

 

The procedure for supplementary re-sit registration for students who should have completed is as follows:     


    

Step 1:

Refer to the schedule of fees at the end of this brief to determine exactly how much to pay.

Step 2:

Log into https://sts.ug.edu.gh with your Student ID and PIN
 and click on “PAY ACADEMIC/RESIDENTIAL FEES” link to pay the required Re-sit Fees.

·      For the fee type, select “academic fees”

·      Follow the instruction and pay appropriately.

·      You will receive a receipt of payment with transaction number after paying successfully.

 Step 3:

Complete accurately the following on-line Supplementary Re-Sit Registration Form and ensure that you have submitted it successfully. You will receive feedback immediately.

Please note:

·      Re-sit registration is for FIRST SEMESTER COURSES ONLY.

·      Students may register up to a maximum of 18 credit hours.

·      Re-sit registration is for failed courses (Grade E or F) only.

·      Deadline for the re-sit registration is Tuesday, June 30, 2020.

·      The Supplementary re-sit examinations will be conducted through the SAKAI LMS, other online resources and emails.

·      The examinations are scheduled as follows:

-    Regular Students:                           Saturday, July 18 – Saturday, August 1, 2020.

-    Distance Education Students:        Friday, July 31 – Sunday, August 2, 2020.

 

·      Students should report any clashes in the Timetable to their respective College Academic Offices as follows:
