THEA 637 (GENERAL CORE): Special Topic I

This first semester’s course offers an opportunity for individual exploration and analysis of a specific area of media

and theatre arts relating to the principal area of concentration, under the guidance of faculty. Students undertake

special projects of their choice but with the approval of the Departmental Graduate Committee. The project will be

under the supervision of an expert from the department, collaborative institutions, and industry. The project will be

carried out and the findings presented at a seminar in a manner appropriate to the subject area and conforming to

guidelines instituted by the department.
