THEA 633 (MEDIA ARTS): Digital Media Workshop I

Within practical contexts of art making, the course covers media streaming involving video, audio and still images on the Web.

  It will also integrate reading and writing on various aspects of new media within the context of art and society, including self-publishing,

game theory, cyberspace, narrative, and interactivity. It is designed to help students acquire skills in multimedia design and development.

It consists of lectures and practical tutorial sessions which provide the foundation for developing a multimedia application on a topic of relevance.
