THEA 628 (GENERAL ELECTIVE): Musical Theatre

This course explores the various elements that make a musical theatre such as performance, movement,

composition, theme, story, and character. Students will combine study in performance, composition, dramatic writing,

directing and choreography in order to fashion out their individual approaches to producing a musical theatre.

Through screenings and readings, students will analyse theories and techniques employed in the discipline.
