THEA 614 (Technical Theatre): Sound and Lights Design

This course explores the aesthetics of dramatic stage lighting and sound design and the systematic approaches to the processes needed to transform design goals into an effective technical design. The course involves concept development and communicating the design idea through a variety of practical exercises. The research, analysis, engineering and organizational techniques required by the sound and lighting designer will be developed into a set of working tools and methods.
