The University of Ghana Badminton team has always dominated the Female competition at GUSA (Ghana Universities Sports Association) Games. Since 2006, the ladies continue to accumulate Gold medals with excellent performances from the likes Lydia Afia Serwaa Amoah and Thomas Amediku. The male team, runners up to champions UCC (University of Cape Coast) at the recent GUSA Game hosted in Kumasi will be getting ready to change the storyline in June 2014 when they take part in the upcoming GUSA Games to be hosted by UCC.
