Abstract/Proposal Guidelines

Abstracts/proposals should be sent electronically via EasyChair.

The language of the conference is English, however, panels in other languages are also welcome, and encouraged, especially, if they relate to crisis in literary, linguistic and cultural studies, or any of the extensive list of domains covered by the  conference.

Proposal of panels should not exceed 500 words, and should include:

  • Title of the panel
  • Convenor
  • Proposed panelists (distinguishing main speakers and discussants, if appropriate)
  • Discussant (if necessary)
  • Language (if different from English)

For languages of mediation that are not English, prior submission of papers will be welcome so that translators can be engaged.

Abstract of individual papers:

  • Present for blind review a single-spaced, Times New Roman 12 pt. font abstract
  • Abstracts should not be more than 300 words and must address the theme or sub-themes of the conference.
  • The abstract should highlight the problem being investigated, methodology, significance of the study, as well as its findings.
