M. Phil and PhD Opportunity Regional Institute for Population Studies, University of Ghana, Legon, Ghana.

The Regional Institute for Population Studies (RIPS), University of Ghana(UG) is seeking well motivated and industrious candidates from Africa for its M. Phil. and PhD programs on Climate Change Adaptation Research and Training Capacity for Development (CCARTCD). This program is under the African Adaptation Research Centre (AARC) initiative of the International Development Research Centre (IDRC), Canada. Successful candidates will receive funding for the entire duration of the program. PhD candidates will be sponsored to a University in North America for a period of 10 months for mentoring as part of the program. Interested candidates should submit a 2-page CV, a 500 word career statement and a 2-page research proposal by e-mail to the Project Leader at scodjoe@ug.edu.gh or scodjoe@yahoo.com. Post-doctoral Diaspora African Researcher Regional Institute for Population Studies, University of Ghana, Legon, Ghana.

The Regional Institute for Population Studies (RIPS), University of Ghana(UG) is seeking a post-doctoral Diaspora African Researcher to be hosted at RIPS for a period of one year. The successful researcher will receive funding for the entire duration of stay at RIPS. While here the researcher is expected to be involved in graduate student mentoring and grant writing. This program is under the African Adaptation Research Centre(AARC) initiative with funding from the International Development Research Centre (IDRC), Canada. Interested researchers should submit a 5-page CV, a 1000 word career statement and a 5-page research proposal by e-mail to the Project Leader at scodjoe@ug.edu.gh or scodjoe@yahoo.com. Diaspora African Scientist Regional Institute for Population Studies, University of Ghana, Legon, Ghana.

The Regional Institute for Population Studies (RIPS), University of Ghana(UG) is seeking a Diaspora African Scientist to be hosted at RIPS for a period of six months. The successful scientist will receive funding for the entire duration of stay at RIPS. The selected scientist will be expected to assist with graduate student mentoring, student supervision, teaching, and grant writing. This program is under the African Adaptation Research Centre (AARC) initiative with funding from the International Development Research Centre (IDRC), Canada. Interested scientists should submit a 10-page CV by e-mail to the Project Leader at scodjoe@ug.edu.gh or scodjoe@yahoo.com. Application Deadline is July 31st 2011.
