PROFILE
Emmanuel is a senior lecturer at the Department of Political Science in the University of Ghana. Prior to joining the Department, he served as adjunct faculty in at least three reputable Universities locally and internationally as well as a Senior Research Fellow at the Institute for Democratic Governance (IDeG), a policy think tank in Accra. He has a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) in Public Administration from the University of Ghana. He obtained his Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Public & Development Management from the School of Public Leadership, University of Stellenbosch, South Africa. He has served as a TRECCAFRICA Fellow in Sustainability Studies at the University of Stellenbosch, South Africa sponsored by the European Union Intra-ACP programme. This Fellowship explains why Dr Yeboah-Assiamah has expertise, interests and outputs in environmental governance and politics as well as complex sustainability issues. His association with the School of Public Leadership also demonstrates why he has research interests and output in leadership and governance issues. Dr Yeboah-Assiamah possesses a Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management from the Institute for Commercial Management (ICM-UK). He has also had a Post-Doctoral Training at the Global Development Institute (GDI) in the University of Manchester, UK as a GCRF Fellow where among other things, he understudied courses in Human Resource Practice, Human Resource Management as well as Learning, Training and Development (LTD) with the latter being an online pedagogical training. These also demonstrate why he has research interests and outputs in public sector human resource management and organizational studies. Dr Yeboah-Assiamah is a verified reviewer for many reputable journals including, inter alia, the Journal of Public Affairs (published by Wiley & Sons); Journal of Asian and African Studies (published by Sage); International Journal of Public Leadership (published by Emerald); Forest Policy & Economics (Elsevier); Society & Natural Resources; Administrative Theory & Praxis; Third World Quarterly (all published by Taylor and Francis).
