The Careers and Counselling Centre provides students and staff of the University of Ghana with the opportunity to receive support from trained professionals (counselors, clinical psychologist and the psychiatrists) about their personal, educational and career goals. The main aim of Careers and Counselling Centre is to assist students in formulating and achieving personal, education and career goals. We also equip students with general employability skills to help them make a smooth and rapid transition from the University into entry level positions.
As part of developing a world class human resource to meet global development challenges, the Centre annually runs a Career Week Celebration. During this celebration, students get to interact with various corporate bodies which come on board to be a part of the celebration. This is usually through the daily programmes outlined for the Week.
The Careers and Counselling Centre of the University of Ghana is inviting all Students and Graduates of the University to this year's Career week celebration starting form 28th February to 4th March, 2017, dubbed " own your Career, don't just dream it, be it"
