Job Description

SCOPING VISIT BY CAMBRIDGE RESEARCH OFFICE

In 2013, Research Managers from the University of Cambridge Research Operations Office undertook a Scoping visit to UG to review the research management infrastructure (i.e. existing systems, structures, processes and procedures) in place to support the University’s research activities and initiatives.

This covered visits to the Office of Research, Innovation and Development (ORID), the Office of Sponsored Research at the Noguchi Memorial Institute for Medical Research (NMIMR) and the former College of Agriculture and Consumer Sciences (CACS). The visit provided an opportunity for the Cambridge Research Managers to interact with the UG Research Managers and Research Development Officers in order to understand and review the systems, procedures and policies in place both at the central and School/Institute level and to provide the needed guidance and support.
