The University of Ghana is the oldest university in Ghana and one of the first to have been established in West Africa. Since its establishment in 1948 the university has grown to become a comprehensive university, focusing on teaching and research. With nearly 80 undergraduate and over 200 graduate programmes, we offer a wide range of opportunities for the intellectual advancement of our students.
