University of Ghana Medical School Receives Donation from Bamson Company

The University of Ghana Medical School (UGMS) has received a donation of fifty buckets of emulsion paint from Bamson Company Limited.

Presenting the donation, the Administrator of the Company, Mr. George Amoako noted that this was in response to a request made to the Company.  He  said this was in line with the Company’s corporate social responsibility initiatives and was hopeful that the donation will help bring a new look to the buildings.

The College Secretary Mr. Michael Opare-Atuah who received the donation on behalf of the Provost of the College, was grateful to the Company for responding positively to the request. He promised that the donation will be used for the purpose for which it was given.

Present at the presentation ceremony were the Dean of the School, Professor Margaret Lartey, the School Administrator, Ms. Susie N.O. Lamptey, the School Accountant, Mrs. Juliana Agyapong Lartey, Reverend Dr. Tom Ndanu and Mr. Augustine Amissare, Assistant Registrar (Public Affairs).

The Company was also represented by Mr. Patrick Nyarko, Technical Instructor (Decorative Paints), Mr. Daniel Amartei, Sales Accounts Manager and Mr. Victor Cobbina, Sales Accounts Manager.
