UG Management Receives Delegation from UGMC

University Management with the UGMC Delegation

 

On Friday, January 21, 2022, a delegation from the University of Ghana Medical Centre (UGMC) paid a courtesy call on the Management of the University. The purpose of the visit was to discuss how UGMC can collaborate with the University in the areas of service, training, research and teaching.

The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Nana Aba Appiah Amfo

In brief remarks, the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Nana Aba Appiah Amfo expressed appreciation for the visit on behalf of Management. She stressed the need to engage in further discussions in order for both the UGMC and the University to benefit from mutually agreed collaborations. Prof. Amfo expressed her intention to pay a working visit to UGMC within the shortest possible time.

Other University officials present at the meeting were the Pro-Vice-Chancellor, Academic and Students Affairs, Prof. Gordon Awandare and the Registrar, Mrs. Emelia Agyei-Mensah.

Ofori-Ayeh, Director of Operations and Mrs. Barbara Owusu-Hemeng, Deputy Director, Client Services and  Public Relations.
