UG Don Heads Pan African Congress Of Radiology And Imaging

Dr. Samuel Yaw Opoku

Dr. Samuel Yaw Opoku, Head of Radiography Department, School of Biomedical and Allied Health Sciences, College of Health Sciences, University of Ghana has been elected the President of Pan African Congress of Radiology and Imaging (PACORI) for a two-year term.

PACORI is the continental organization committed to the advancement of radiological and medical imaging including radiation oncology services in Africa.

His election took place at the 9th Pan African Congress of Radiology and Imaging (PACORI) Congress in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania on February 19, 2017.

Dr. Opoku holds a PhD and an MPhil in Radiography from City University, London and BSc in Radiotherapy from Howard University, Washington DC, USA.
