SSAUoG-Legon Pays Courtesy Call on Acting Vice-Chancellor

The University of Ghana branch of the Senior Staff Association-Universities of Ghana (SSAUoG), led by their Chairman, Mr. Francis Sosoo, paid a courtesy call on the Acting Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Nana Aba Appiah Amfo on Tuesday, September 14, 2021.

The purpose of their visit was to congratulate Prof. Amfo on her appointment as the first female Acting Vice-Chancellor and present the concerns of members to her.

Welcoming the delegation, the Acting Vice-Chancellor expressed gratitude for the visit. She indicated that building the University requires a collaborative effort, thus, the inputs of every member of the University community is essential. She was hopeful that the concerns raised would be given the requisite attention.

Present at the meeting were Mrs. Arhizah Blay-Abiti, Senior Assistant Registrar, Office of the Acting Vice-Chancellor and other members of the SSAUoG delegation including Mr. Nathaniel Asiedu Ansong, First Vice-Chairman; Mr. Shadrack Agyiri, Secretary; Mr. Eugene Sarpong, Assistant Secretary and Mr. James Banoeng-Yakubo, Trustee.
