The University of Ghana has held its 2017 Service of Nine Lessons and Carols at the Great Hall to usher the University community into the Christmas festive season. Rev. Dr. Abamfo Atiemo, Chairman of the University of Ghana Chaplaincy Board and the officiating minister, welcomed the University community to the service.

Rev. Dr. Atiemo explained the significance of the service as bringing members of the community together as a family to celebrate the peace and goodwill pronounced by the angels on Christmas night. He expressed the hope that humans will commit themselves to promoting these values, in order to advance world peace.
