The Rotary Club of Accra East Legon has presented a proposal through the Office of Institutional Advancement (OIA) to refurbish the Children’s Ward of the University Hospital. The President of the Rotary Club, Ing. Speaking to the Rotary Club gesture, the Acting Director of OIA, Prof. Robert Ebo Hinson, noted that the Club’s proposal is a response to the OIA’s “20 for 20” campaign, in collaborating with the Health Services Directorate and the Physical Development and Municipal Services Directorate, to raise funds for the renovation of the paediatric wing of the University of Ghana Hospital.

The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Ebenezer Oduro Owusu, expressed profound appreciation to the Rotary Club for extending a helping hand to the University Hospital and gave the assurance that the documentation process will be expedited for the commencement of the project.
