Representatives Of Fondazione Edu Scholarship Scheme Visit University Of Ghana

The Students’ Financial Aid Office (SFAO) has hosted representatives of Fondazione Edu Scholarship Scheme from Italy to an interactive session with student beneficiaries of the scholarship scheme. The programme presented an opportunity for the students to express their appreciation to the Scholarship Scheme for their support as well as discuss their challenges.

The Director of the Students’ Financial Aid Office (SFAO), Mrs. Christine Baning, noted that the Fondazione Edu Scholarship Scheme has been sponsoring undergraduate students of the University of Ghana for the past three years, with this year 2016, marking the fourth year of the scholarship. The scholarships, she indicated, covered academic and residential fees as well as a book allowance for students in the Sciences and Humanities. She advised students who are yet to benefit from the scholarship scheme to be studious in order to meet the required grade point average of 3.0 to enable them qualify for the scheme’s support.

The representatives from Fondazione Edu Scholarship Scheme congratulated the students for being among the best in the University and assured them of continuous support  in completing their undergraduate programs.

Other University officials present at the programme were the Dean of Students, Professor Francis Nunoo and the Director of Public Affairs, Mrs. Stella Amoa.

Beneficiaries of the Scholarship Scheme with their Sponsors and UG officials
