The Chairman of the University of Ghana Council, Professor Yaw Twumasi, in the company of Vice-Chancellor, Professor Ebenezer Oduro Owusu, and the Registrar, Mrs. Mercy Haizel Ashia, held a meeting with the Chancellor, His Excellency Mr. Kofi Annan, on Tuesday 16th August 2017 at the residence of the Chancellor.
Discussions centered on the university’s finances and current changes in management and governance at the University of Ghana. Among other things, the Chancellor was updated on the 2017 congregation ceremonies, the preparations for the 2017/2018 academic year, and other matters of current concern and attempts to address them.
The Chancellor congratulates the graduating class of 2017 and also wishes the 2017 freshmen and women an academically exciting and fruitful educational experience.
