Dr. Stephen K. Armh has a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Masters of Science (MSc) degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Imperial College of Science, Technology & Medicine, London, South Kensington (UK) and a PhD degree in Mechanical Engineering from NC A&T SU, Greensboro, North Carolina, U.S.A.

Research Area

The main research interests of Dr. Armah are in the areas of System Design for Automation (application in Robotics and Mechatronics), which involves Controls, System Identification and Modeling of Dynamic Systems (including Time-delay Systems), and use of Machine Learning, Image and Video Processing techniques, with application of MATLAB/SIMULINK. Other research interests involve Modeling and Stress Analysis of Bioengineering and Machine Systems, with application of CAD and FEA tools (SOLIDWORKS/ANSYS/ABAQUS), and Data Analytics.
