MASC 338: Oceanographic Methods and Field Course

This field course is to provide students with practical experience in both knowledge dissemination and fieldwork. The field course is therefore an important component of the BSc. Marine Science programme. Students embark on field visits for practical exposure. The course will equip students with field protocols, laboratory techniques and analysis, as well as the designing, planning and execution of scientific investigations in Oceanography. Assessment is based on an oral presentation and submission of field reports.
