The general aim of this course is to introduce students to the global trends in fish utilization and processing applications. Some of the areas of focus will be: patterns of fish marketing in the developed and developing economies; producer-consumer linkages; product-types and processing; trader and functions; i.e. small-scale and large-scale; equipment and installation; prices, cost and internal rate of returns; special topics.
