Awardees of WorldFish Aquatic Health Africa (AHA) Project Recieve Laptops

The WorldFish and NORAD funded Aquatic Health Africa Project at the University of Ghana has awarded scholarships to 6 MPhil. Students at the Department of Marine & Fisheries Sciences (MAFS) to pursue a 2-year programme in Aquaculture.

As part of the scholarship the awardees have been presented laptops to aid in their studies and research work.  In addition, awardees will recieve  monthly stipend during the period of studies.  Practical component of the students research will be supported through collaboration between MAFS and the WorldFish Aquaculture Training Center in Abbassa, Egypt.  The students will visit the WorldFish Aquaculture Training Center for 4 months to build skills in fish disease diagnostics and identification;  general laboratory procedures; and field visits.
