CALL FOR PHD APPLICATIONS-OYSTER-H 3 Project

The OYSTER-H 3 project funded through the African Research Initiative for Scientific Excellence (ARISE)
Programme is offering two scholarships to highly motivated MPhil students to carry out their MPhil
research work at the Department of Marine and Fisheries Sciences of the University of Ghana. The
duration of the study and that of the scholarship is two years, however, considerations may be given
to students who are already enrolled in an MPhil programme in the department.

Planned Activities - World Ocean Day (2021)

1. Live TV interaction on CITI TV @ 7:30am - Prof Nunoo

2. Live studio interview at Radio Univers (105.7) @ 8am -  Prof Wiafe.

2. Asaase Radio (99.5) to air  pre-recorded interview of Prof Nunoo at 5pm on the Big News Bulletin.

3. Live TV interview on Pan-African TV @ 1pm on their Youth Empowerment Program - Profs Nunoo and Wiafe.

First Hybrid Aquaculture Conference in West Africa

The Department of Marine and Fisheries Sciences of the University of Ghana in collaboration with the Chamber of Aquaculture Ghana (COA) is jointly hosting the First Hybrid Aquaculture Conference in Westt Africa with support from the World Aquaculture Society African Chapter at the Cedi Conference Center at the University of Ghana, Legon-Accra from 14th May to 16th May 2021.
