About Us

The office of the legal counsel is the in house corporate legal office of the University of Ghana and is responsible for all legal matters of the University. In carrying out that responsibility, the Office of the Legal Counsel handles all aspects of the University’s legal services including litigation, property, commercial law, employment, policy issues and corporate legal advice of the university administration.

To advance the mission and vision of the University by providing legal advice to assist the University in attaining a world class status.
To adopt a risk elimination and reduction approach in transactions affecting the University.

To protect and preserve information shared with the Office of the Legal Counsel and ensure their secrecy or confidentiality.
