The Du Bois Memorial Center for Pan-Africa Culture
The Du Bois Memorial Center for Pan-Africa Culture, a source of inspiration to many, this Centre now houses a research library and gallery of
manuscripts, as well as the grave of this famous African-American scholar and his wife.

Shai Hills Resource Reserve

The Shai reserve is a comparatively small fenced area, about 48km² and made up largely of savanna covered plains, interspersed series of inselbergs.
   
The Centre for National Culture
The Centre for National Culture, Greater Accra Region, was one the Ten Regional Centres established in 1982 under P.N.D.C Law 238.
   
Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park
Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park (KNMP) is a National Park in, Accra, Ghana named after Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah, the ‘’founding father’’ of Ghana.
   
Independence Square
The venue for many national celebrations, dominated by the independence arch and the memorial to Unknown Soldier.

The Accra International Conference Center is perhaps the most popular venue in Accra where large events are held.

Kakum National Park
The park was established in 1932 and officially opened to the public in 1994. The 357km2 national park is comprised of mostly undisturbed virgin
rainforest. A hike through the forest provides the opportunity to see much of Ghana’s indigenous plant life, as well as rare butterflies, birds and game (that could include the extraordinary bongo and forest elephant). Its most unique feature is a Canopy Walkway consisting of seven hanging bridges high up in the treetops.
   
Cape Coast and Elmina Castles
The Elmina and Cape Coast Castles are a tourist attraction and World Heritage Monuments in Cape Coast, Ghana. This hasn’t always been the case. Looking at the castles from the outside, nothing can ever prepare the unsuspecting visitor or tourist emotionally to hear about the tales of horror and atrocities that went on beyond those walls. “A guided tour is a must”.

Elmina Castle was built by the Portuguese in the year 1471 and became the largest Slave Trading
Post in the World. It was here that the Slaves were kept until they were transported to their
unknown destination. Many Afro Americans originate from here.
Cape Coast Castle Elmina Castle

Cape Coast Castle is believed to have started as a small trading fort but soon became the largest Slave Trading Post after Elmina Castle in the World.

WESTERN REGION

   
Nzulezu Stilt Village
Nzulezu Stilt Village is an amazing community built entirely on stilts in the middle of Lake Tadane. All structures are suspended over the water and transport is only by canoe. The excursion to Nzulezu involves a fascinating canoe trip through the reed beds and across the lake.

While in the area you can visit Fort Apollonia at Beyin, take a canoe trip up the scenic Ankasa River, go on an expedition with local fishermen or explore the nearby town of Beyin. There are basic, local-style guesthouses in both Beyin and Nzulezu, with bucket baths and meals on request.

Nzulezu is about 90 kilometres from Takoradi and is best approached from Beyin. Visitors are welcome every day except Thursdays which are sacred.

Aburi Botanical Gardens
The Aburi Botanical Gardens, built in 1890, are famous for their extensive landscaped gardens and spectacular views of the forest to the north and the Accra Plains to the south.
   
The Dodi Princess
The Dodi Princess, which predates the relationship between Princess Diana and Dodi Al-Fayed, is a modern passenger cruise ship built in 1991 with an insured passenger capacity passengers. Dodi as an island in the Volta Region of Ghana. There were many people in Ghana by the name of Dodi well before the other Dodi of the UK came to British public attention.
   
Boti Falls
Spectacular, but seasonal, waterfalls in the forest reserve at huhunya. In the immediate vicinity are cascades, at their best in June to August.The waterfall comes in two part, Male and Female, the Male on the right side and the female on the left side.

Boabeng-Fiema Monkey Sanctuary
Boabeng-Fiema Monkey Sanctuary is Ghana's most famous example of traditional African conservation.The sanctuary is nestled in between the two villages of Boabeng and Fiema; The sanctuary is home to over 200 Geoffrey’s Pied Columbus and 500 Campbell's Mona Monkeys.For more than 150 years the people of Boabeng and Fiema have considered the monkeys sacred. The traditional beliefs in both communities prohibit physical harm to the monkeys. Additionally, the 2 communities came together in 1975 to pass a local modern law prohibiting harm to the monkeys.
   
Kintampo Falls
These beautiful falls are hidden away in the woods close to the Kumasi/Kintampo highway. The fall is only 4km away from the town on the Kintampo-Tamale highway.This is the point where the Pumpu River falls some seventy (70) metres down beautiful rocky steps to continue its journey towards the Black Volta at Buipe.
   
The Heritage of Brong Ahafo
The history and culture of Brong Ahafo comes alive if you visit the Hani archaeological site 50km from Wenchi, inhabited by the Benghos about 1200BC, and the Kwaku Fri shrine at Nwoase 6km from Wenchi.This shrine is only accessible to visitors on Wednesdays and Sundays.

It is located 31km southeast of Kumasi. A picturesque meteorite Crater Lake surrounded by dozens of virgin fishing and farming villages.The Lake Basin is ideal for mountaineering, diving, swimming and relaxation. Accessible by road from Kumasi.
