| | NEWS RELEASE : Suspension of Mature Students Entrance Examination |    | | | The University of Ghana announces for the information of the general public that it has suspended, until further notice the conduct of any entrance examination for the admission of “mature students”.
For the avoidance of doubt, no “Mature Students Entrance Examination” will be held in 2011. Consideration of candidates who took the last examination held in February 2011 for admission into the University for the 2011/2012 academic year is not affected by this decision.
The suspension of the “Mature Students Entrance Examination” is part of an on-going re-assessment of the academic programmes of the University. New modalities for admitting various categories of fresh students are being developed by the University and will be announced in due course after approval by the Academic Board.
