Get Your Transcripts in 48 Hourspdf print preview print preview
 
Starting from December 1, 2011, you can request and have your transcripts within 48 HOURS. This is how to proceed:

UNDERGRADUATE TRANSCRIPTS

Students who graduated after 1996 should do the following:
  • Pay for the transcript at the Cash Office.
  • Obtain clearance from the Student Account Office in Room D22.
  • Take the receipt of payment for the transcript and your statement of accounts to Room D2.
  • Collect your transcript from Room D2 after 48 hours.

Continuing students and those who have completed their programmes but have not yet been presented for graduation should do the following:
  • Print out your online transcript (academic records) and check to be sure the information is correct.
  • If you are satisfied with your records, proceed to request for your transcript.
  • Pay for the transcript at the Cash Office.
  • Obtain clearance from the Student Account Office in Room D22.
  • Take the receipt of payment for the transcript and statement of accounts to Room D2.
  • Collect transcripts from Room D2 after 48 hours.

GRADUATE STUDENTS
Graduate students should follow the steps above. However, their transcripts will be ready within ONE WEEK. Very soon arrangements will be put in place to migrate Graduate Transcript Issuance also to the 48 Hour platform.

STUDENTS WHO COMPLETED BEFORE 1996
Those who graduated from the university before 1996 have to give up to ONE WEEK for their transcripts to be ready.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
  • Students who find their online transcript to be incomplete and/or inaccurate should report it to their Department and send a mail to studentsrecords@ug.edu.gh
  • Please note that once your transcript is printed and you find errors in it that were in the online version but you did not have them corrected, any re-printing of the transcript will be at your cost.
  • Academic records on a student’s transcript will correspond to the number of semesters for which the student does not owe fees.
  • Students who owe fees will have transcripts only for the semesters for which they have paid full fees.
  • The current charges for transcripts (subject to change) are GHC6.00 for the first copy and GHC4.00 for any additional copy.
  • Under the 48 Hour regime, if you place your request on a Friday, your transcript will be ready on the following Tuesday at the same time as when you placed the order.

EXPRESS TRANSCRIPTS
There is an option to request EXPRESS TRANSCRIPTS. To activate this option you must place your request before 12 noon, following the steps outlined above. Your transcripts will be ready FOUR HOURS later.

The first copy of an Express Transcript costs GHC15.00 and any additional copy GHC10.00.
