| | Undergraduate Admissions for the 2009 - 2010 Academic Year |  | | | The University of Ghana is accepting application from prospective applicants to the Certificate, Diploma And Degree Programmes for the 2009/2010 academic year.
All applications except DIPLOMA to DEGREE, RE-APPLICATIONS and GHANAIANS WITH FOREIGN BACKGROUND and FOREIGN APPLICANTS, must be submitted ONLINE at http://admission.ug.edu.gh/apply on the purchase of the appropriate scratch card.
All applicants will be considered on the basis of result equivalents as provided by the West African Examinations Council as per schedule below:

1. All applicants will be considered on the basis of results available to them as at 31st March 2009, which is the stipulated deadline for the submission of applications.
2. The professional degrees at the College of Health Sciences are not offered at Level 100. Candidates who intend to take any of these degrees (except Nursing and Pharmacy, which admit direct into Level 100), should apply firstly to read either Biological Science or Bio-mathematical Science in the Faculty of Science.
3. Applicants to the Bachelor’s degree who are unable to meet the competitive cut-off points determined by the Admissions Board for admission to preferred programmes of study may subscribe to admission under the Full Fee-paying Scheme. Such candidates shall be required to meet the University’s minimum requirement for admission. This admission will be offered under the unutilised quota for foreign studentship. Interested applicants must indicate this on their application forms.

All applicants who have ever attended or graduated with Certificate/Diploma from the University of Ghana from 1996 to date should indicate their **STUDENT IDENTITY NUMBERS** on their application forms before submission. The same number would be used in the intended programme(s) of study if admitted.
