The Centre for Migration Studies, University of Ghana, is part of a consortium of Universities undertaking a research on migration and poverty. The project titled "Migrating out of Poverty" seeks to provide support for evidence-based policy making on migration. The project is coordinated by the University of Sussex in the United Kingdom, and comprises Universities in Ghana, South Africa, Kenya, Bangladesh, and Singapore.
