1. Workshop on Budget and Integrated Tertiary Software held
The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. C.N.B. Tagoe has noted that the University has adopted the Integrated Tertiary Software (ITS) in its financial applications and called on all Faculty heads, heads of Units and accounting staff to take advantage of training in this regard.
 
2. 2008 Executive MBA students Inducted
The University of Ghana Business School (UGBS) has recently held an induction ceremony to officially admit the 16th batch of Executive Masters in Business Administration (EMBA) students to the programme.
 
3. College of Health Sciences Holds 7th Congregation

The College of Health Sciences of the University has held its 7th Congregation on the Legon campus to graduate about 647 newly qualified Medical Doctors, Dental Surgeons, Graduate Nurses, Medical Laboratory Scientists, Physiotherapists as well as other health practitioners and paramedics.
 
4. University of Ghana Collaborates with Mo Ibrahim Foundation

In collaboration with the University, the Mo Ibrahim Foundation has held a Public lecture on the topic" Reclaiming good governance: recasting the governance debate around civil society" at the R.S. Amegashie Auditorium, University of Ghana Business School.  The lecture was attended by a large number of students of the university and other distinguished personalities.
 
5. New Officers for UG S.R.C
Students of the University of Ghana went to the polls yesterday to elect new Executives for the Students Representative Council.

The atmosphere at allpolling stations visited was very calm and normal and voting was going on peacefully. Some students from Commonwealth Hall have described the voting process as free and fair with students' participation also encouraging.
