|  The British High Commissioner to Ghana, Dr. Nicholas James Westcott has paid a courtesy call on the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. C.N.B. Tagoe. The Pro-Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Kwesi Yankah, the Registrar, Mr. A.T. Konu and the Dean of International Programmes, Prof. Eric Danquah were also on hand to receive the High Commissioner.

| 3. | Kofi Annan Invested as New Chancellor at Special Congregation |

His Excellency Mr. Kofi Annan was on 11 August 2008, enthroned as the new Chancellor of the University of Ghana at a Special Congregation which took place in the Great Hall of the University. By his investiture, he becomes the second non-head-of-state Chancellor since the University was established 60 years ago.
