Elsie Kaufmann Joins Fellows Class Of IWF Leadership Foundationpdf print preview print preview
 
Dr. Elsie Effah Kaufmann, Head of Department, Biomedical Engineering at the Faculty of Engineering Sciences, University of Ghana, has been selected from a pool of candidates in the Fellows Program history of the International Women’s Forum’s (IWF) Leadership Foundation. She joins the 2011-2012 Fellows Class of the IWF.

The selection was made from the largest and most competitive pool of candidates in Fellows Program history. 35 rising women leaders from 14 nations were selected. Dr. Kaufmann’s fellowship is being sponsored by the Carnegie Corporation of New York.

The new Fellows will begin their programme year with orientation and training in conjunction with the 2011 IWF World Leadership Conference in Washington, DC this October, followed by programmes at HBS in Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA and at INSEAD's global campus in Singapore.

The International Women’s Forum advances women’s leadership across careers, cultures and continents by connecting the world’s most preeminent women of significant and diverse achievement. The IWF brings together an unprecedented global membership to exchange ideas, to learn and inspire, and to promote better leadership for a changing world. Through the Leadership Foundation, IWF helps prepare future generations of women leaders.
