Mr. Tabi made a passionate appeal to government and the Ministry of Trade and Industry (MOTI) to assist the graduands as well as other Small-Medium Enterprises (SMEs), to sustain their businesses which he said would contribute to the growth of the economy. He appealed to the British Council, to ensure that the programme is sustained.

He was happy with the excellent relations existing between the British Council and the UGBS, and commended the hard work put in the management of the EDS to ensure that participants were well taken care off. Mr. Anibaba hoped that the graduands would translate the skills they have acquired from the programme to bear on their businesses, adding that in the area of film production, the West African sub-region needed experts in quality film production.
Mr. Alex Mensah, Assistant Commercial Officer of the Ministry of the Trade and Industry, who delivered the key note address on behalf of the Chief Director of the Ministry, congratulated the UGBS and the British Council for the partnership in undertaking the training, adding that the acquisition of skills by the SMEs is essential for strengthening the country’s industrial sector.
The Business Development Manager of the EDS, Mrs. Marjorie Beeko expressed appreciation to many bodies, including the British Council for providing the concept and support to run the 4 training sessions. She acknowledged
the support of faculty and staff of the UGBS, and other resource persons from the Ministry of Trade and Industry and the Registrar-General’s Department. Mrs. Beeko noted that the feedback from participants rated the impact of the training on their businesses as “overwhelming”, and called on the British Council to continue to support the programme.
