The Hall Senate of Mensah Sarbah Hall, comprising fellows and representatives of the Junior Common Room (JCR), have elected Dr. George Asare Darpaah as the new Hall Master. Dr. Darpaah, a Research Fellow at the Volta Basin Research Project (VBRP) will serve in this capacity for a period of three years with effect from October 1, 2010.

He polled forty-five votes out of the total of eighty-two votes cast to beat his fellow contestant, Dr. Josephine Dzahene-Quashie, the current Vice-Master. Dr. Darpaah will succeed Dr. James K. Adomako, a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Botany, who is the current Dean of Students.
