He outlined the donations as follows:

- Books (12 copies of Lehninger: Principles of Biochemistry ,4th Edition with CDs for teachers) from Prof Michael M. Cox, University of Wisconsin, Madison, USA
- Books (10 copies of Essential Cell Biology, Second Edition, Edited by Bruce Alberts et al) From the American Society for Cell Biology
- A dual viewer Microscope with camera with coupler to PC from the Lab of Prof Keith Gull, Oxford University
- A crate of more than 100 assorted Biochemistry text books from the Lab of Prof Keith Gull, Oxford University

Prof. Sackey said such donations were very useful for the training of more students, to contribute more to the development of Science, especially as the Department prepares to celebrate its 50th anniversary in a year and half.
