A Memorandum of Understanding which aims at promoting international understanding and enhancing educational opportunities for, and between students and faculty of the University of Ghana and the University of Rochester has been signed today at a brief ceremony.
Under the agreement, the two institutions will work together to promote student, faculty and staff exchanges, and of materials, documents and equipment. They will also undertake collaborative research in any field of interest common to both Universities, creation and organization of conferences.
The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. C.N.B. Tagoe signed on behalf of the University of Ghana, whilst the Senior Vice President and Dean of Arts, Sciences and Engineering, Peter Lennie signed of behalf of the University of Rochester.
Present at the ceremony was the Pro-Vice Chancellor, Prof. Kwesi Yankah and Prof. Eric Y. Danquah, Dean of International Programmes.
