An international faculty will teach a two-week course designed to help young African scientists learn cell biology, methods for studying cells, and effective ways to teach about them. The course is designed for people who already have at least a bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject, and preferably an MSc. It will cover cells in general and both protozoan and bacterial pathogens, with an emphasis on malaria and tuberculosis. Specific areas of training will include:

·       Developing Research Proposals

·       Using Yeast as a Model Organism

·       Macromolecular Complexes as Machines
