George Kodie Frimpong

OFFICIAL STATUS: Assistant Lecturer

PROFILE
George Frimpong Kodie believes in the effectiveness of student-centred learning and always strives to make it a regular practice. As a highly committed teacher, George endeavours to always get closer to his students and thereby inspires an academic desire in as many students as possible. During his two years of teaching at the university, he has been handling with passion undergraduate core courses in English linguistics which are among the large classes at the department. The fascinating thing is that George manages to add freshness to these courses he has been teaching over the years so that there is always something new about courses he teaches. Students signing for his courses should therefore always expect new insights. George has a particular interest in New Englishes and corpus linguistics. He has attended quite a few linguistic conferences inside and outside of Ghana.
