GUIDELINES FOR REGISTERING FOR THE UNIVERSITY OF GHANA REQUIRED COURSES (UGRCs)

UGRC: 210 ACADEMIC WRITING II
UGRC 220: AFRICAN AND LIBERAL STUDIES

The UGRC 210: Academic Writing II and UGRC 220: African and Liberal Studies courses will be offered in the First and Second Semesters of the 2011/2012 academic year.

In order to avoid any clashes with regular courses, students are expected to study the timetable before choosing a Group (for Academic Writing II) or elective area (for African and Liberal Studies).

Since students may not know which group they may be assigned for the regular courses, they should avoid any slot where they find their regular courses scheduled at the same time with ACADEMIC WRITING II or AFRICAN STUDIES

For example,
a. students offering Adult Education or Geography or Computer Science should not register for the Monday, 7.30a.m - 9.30 a.m Academic Writing II Groups 1 and 2.
b. students offering Chinese or Spanish should also not register for the Monday, 9.30 -11.30 a.m African Studies Music class.
