Sylvester’s PhD thesis under the CLIMCOCOA looks at the Socio-economic potential of agroforestry as an alternative livelihood strategy for cocoa farmers in Ghana. This PhD thesis is supervised by Dr Kwadwo Owusu (University of Ghana), Prof. Henrik Meilby (University of Copenhagen), Dr. Aske S. Bosselmann (University of Copenhagen) and Prof. P.W.K. Yankson (University of Ghana). Dr. Richard Asare (a Cocoa Scientist at IITA) is also an advisor on Sylvester’s PhD work.
