The University of Ghana Readers, the single largest publishing initiative of an African University, are meant to highlight the University of Ghana’s significant contributions to the development of thought and to the analysis of critical issues for Ghanaian and African societies over the last 65 years. The Readers are collections of essays reflecting developments in the discipline or sub-discipline over the years since the department or institute was founded.
The Readers are in the Arts and Humanities, Social Sciences, Business, Clinical Sciences, Physical and Life Sciences. It is expected that twelve Readers will be launched and another six that will appear soon will be on display. The event will take place as follows:
