CALL FOR ABSTRACTS

Abstracts could either be a proposal, ongoing or completed thesis related to the PhD programme

Abstracts for Oral or Poster presentations should be submitted according to the following guidelines:

1.    All abstracts should be structured as follows:

a.    Title and authors (underline presenting author)

b.    Aim(s) or objective(s)

c.    Methods

d.    Results (if any)

e.    Discussion, Conclusion or Expected Outcome

2.    Must not exceed 300 words and with a font size 12 (Times New Roman)

3.    Deadline for submission of abstract: 15^th September, 2015

4.    All abstracts should be submitted electronically to the following email:doctoralconference@ug.edu.gh

5.    Plenary Sessions: Topics to be discussed:

a.    The PhD journey: What does it entail?

b.    Thesis Examiners: Who are they? How are they selected? What do they expect from PhD Students?

c.    How to publish from your PhD thesis.

d.    Authorship issues arising from publishing from your PhD thesis
