Linguistics Department 50th Anniversary Launch

The Department of Linguistics cordially invites the University Community to the launch of its 50th anniversary celebrations under the theme Legon Linguistics @ 50: Reflections and Prospects. The details of the launch are as follows:

Highlights of the programme include the outdooring of the Department’s revamped website and its quarterly electronic newsletter. A special launch speech will be delivered by the legendary linguist and former Pro Vice Chancellor (ASA), Professor Kwesi Yankah, on the title Tweaa: Meaning and the Social Power of Little Words. Also featuring is the University Basic Schools’Atεntεbεn Troupe.
