Invitation to Groundbreaking Ceremony

H.E. President John Mahama is expected to perform the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of four new buildings for the Colleges of Humanities, Education, Basic and Applied Sciences and Health Sciences as well as a 1000 bed student hostel facility for the University.

As you would recall, the University signed a landmark agreement with Africa Integras earlier this year, structured as a 25-year Build, Operate and Transfer (BOT) Project, to construct the buildings.  This project will undoubtedly boost our infrastructural development, propel our decentralization efforts and enhance immensely our capacity to attract and train more graduates.

Your presence and support at this important event is necessary to see the project take off.  I wish to personally invite you to the groundbreaking ceremony on Monday, 14th September, 2015 at 11:00am at the site for the College of Humanities, near the K.A Busia building.

Thank you.

Professor Ernest Aryeetey

Vice Chancellor
